Happy Bastille Day. (And Happy Birthday to my Francophile ami, Kevin.) Here, a souvenir of a lunch enjoyed the last time I saw Paris. At the cheese shop and cafe, La Fromagerie 31, Nick and I each had a little soup, a little salad, a sampler with seven kinds of cheese. Each cheese had a label, and we were instructed to eat them in a clockwise order, from mild to wild, so to speak. Here are some of the labels from both of our platters.
