During the 1960s, when I was a college student, I participated in many protests, mostly about the US involvement in the Vietnam War. Nowadays, with the country in the midst of another moral crisis, I'm out on the lines again. And so, it seems, are many of the same people who were out there in the 1960s. Here's a photo from a recent vigil at the Cambridge, MA, City Hall, two evenings after the recent white supremacist conflict in Charlottesville, VA.
